The FSU Debate Society is a university-sponsored organization that enhances research, speech, and quick thinking skills. Students compete in various tournaments around the country debating topics from foriegn policy to immigration.

Our Goal

The Debate Society's goal is to enhance awareness of issues around the world by debate. Student members will acuire numerous professional and personal skills along with increasing their knowledge on various subjects.

What We Look For..

The FSU Debate Society is always looking for new recruits. Any Florida State Student in good academic standing is allowed to join the society. Members also have the option to join the Debate Team which travels to national tournaments.
