What is NSSLHA?   

·         The National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association, founded in 1972, serves as the national organization for undergraduate and graduate students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication.

·         It is the only official national student association recognized by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association ASHA  ).

·         National NSSLHA has approximately 11,000 members with chapters in over 294 colleges and universities. More information available at   http://www.nsslha.org/.

FSU NSSLHA Chapter

The Florida State University chapter of NSSLHA provides opportunities for students and professors in the department of communication disorders to network and socialize.  The FSU chapter holds monthly meetings addressing current issues relevant to the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology.  If you are interested in becoming involved with our NSSLHA chapter, have any questions, or suggestions please contact     Dr. Michelle Bourgeois , our faculty advisor, or an   executive board member.
